1 Corinthians 9 was our text today.

- Whom would you consider to be a few of life’s winners according to the world’s definition?  Have you ever found
yourself seeking the things that make them “winners?”  Explain.

- When we are doing what we were made to do in the Kingdom of God, whose job is it to bring results?  What is our job?
Are you doing your job as God seeks to expand His Kingdom?  Why or why not?

- Read
1 Corinthians 1:26-31 and 1 Corinthians 9:19-23.  What do you see is vitally important for the expansion of God’s
Kingdom?

- Read
1 Corinthians 9:24-27.  Is it possible to run your race of life and not win?  Is there only one prize for all of humanity
(
verse 24)?  How can we explain the “one prize” statement?

- Read the following passages and list some benefits of the Gospel.
John 10:10    1 Corinthians 6:11   2 Corinthians 5:21     Colossians 1:12-14    1 John 1:9    (share as many other passages
speaking of the benefits of the Gospel as you have time).  How can becoming all things to all people and running our race to
win cause us to become partners in the benefits of the Gospel?

- Read the following passages.  Why does God extend salvation to us?
Matthew 5:13-16    John 17:3    Romans 1:16,17     1 Corinthians 6:20; 7:23

- How will you apply the things you have learned about winning?
