Our text this Sunday was 1 Corinthians 10:14-11:1
- What are some things you have noticed that have changed during your lifetime?
- How much do you think believers try to “share” themselves with both God and evil?
- Read Philippians 2:3-11. What does this passage have to say to followers of Jesus about their rights?
- Read Ephesians 1. How do you see the glory of God defined as our basis for life?
- Read 1 Corinthians chapters 8 through 10 and discuss how all this relates to not only eating food offered to idols, but to
doing things in our lives that push against us getting “our rights.”
- Read the following passages. Why is God so jealous for us?
Proverbs 3:5,6 Jeremiah 29:11 John 10:10
1 John 2:15-17
- Talk about the “love filter.” How can you glorify God by seeking the good of others above your own?
- Can you think of one person or situation this coming week that you can put the good of another person above your own
rights for the glory of God?
