Acts 2:42-47
STEWARDSHIP

First, God owns it all. Everything in heaven and
earth belongs to God (1 Chronicles 29:11).

Second, contentment is essential for lasting
joy and peace. God wants us to avoid the
world’s trap of chasing after bigger, better,
faster, and newer things.

Third, God loves generosity. Cheerful,
sacrificial, and consistent giving pleases the
heart of God.

Fourth, stewards are aware of both their own
financial situation as well as strategic
opportunities to invest in God's work here and
around the world.

Fifth, giving and receiving wise financial
counsel honors God. The body of Christ is
built up when we encourage each other in our
stewardship of what God has given us.
